Do Three Islands NZ offer a simple itinerary service, to help me plan my trip but allow me to make all the bookings myself?

Yes, we do. For a small fee (between NZD$100 and $250 depending on length of stay) we will provide you with a unique, detailed itinerary using the dates you provided and including any special events that you are interested in. It's up to you to take it from there!

Do Three Islands NZ offer tailored vacations and holidays?

 

Yes. We can either alter one of the packages from our website to exactly meet your requirements or simply contact us with details of your holiday and we'll tailor something special from scratch.

 

Do Three Islands NZ cater for couples only?

 

No, we can cater for singles, families and groups. Simply contact us with your requirements. 

 

Do Three Islands NZ offer group packages?

 

Yes, if you have a family or group we can certainly accommodate you. We also specialise in client entertainment for corporate groups. Whether it's a large or small group Three Islands NZ can organise something unique for your group.

 

How can we contact you while on our holiday?

 

You'll be able to contact us via phone, email or Skype. So if you have any problems or change of plans, we will be here to take care of it.

 

Can you organise personal concierge services & guides to escort me on my holiday?

 

Absolutely, we can arrange anything from babysitting, restaurant bookings, theatre tickets and spa & beauty appointments through to organising additional activities, groceries delivered to your accommodation, or if you have a special occasion, such as a birthday or honeymoon during your time in one of our destinations, we offer a gift buying service. These are just some of the requests we can fulfil. We also use excellent tour guides who are professional, knowledgeable and who will show you the best New Zealand has to offer.

 

What are the payment options?

 

Our preferred method of payment is through Audere Solutions (UK) or direct bank transfer (telegraphic transfer). Payments can be processed through our recommended international transfers provider Audere Transfers. You can register with them as a personal client via the flowing link http://www.auderetransfers.com/register. If you are sending funds from a corporate bank account, please sign up for a ‘Business account’. We recommend their services as the exchange rates they offer are far better than PayPal or a bank transfer and they don’t charge additional remittance fees.

 

 

I have special dietary requirements; can these be catered for?

 

All of the accommodations we utilise and recommend are able to cater for all dietary needs where necessary, including cultural & religious needs along with allergies and general likes & dislikes.

 

 

Can you book our international flights to New Zealand?

 

Unfortunately that is not a service we offer at present. Three Islands NZ specialises in your arrangements once you arrive in New Zealand, including booking your domestic flights if required.

 

How much will it cost me to use your service?

 

The rates you pay for accommodation, rental or tour are the same rates you would pay if you booked directly (if not cheaper) - there is no price inflation and you get the added value of our local knowledge, experience and continued assistance.  It's the service: a full itinerary, all your travel bookings and your own personal travel consultant working with you every step of your trip! We charge 10% commission for our service.

 

How does the booking process work?

 

Instead of asking your hometown travel agent to organise a holiday itinerary to New Zealand, you deal with an experienced travel planner based in New Zealand. Using e-mail, Skype and the telephone, we will confirm your travel arrangements and you will receive a written confirmation in the form of an itinerary and an invoice.

 

Since we are a small company committed to personalised service, creating and coordinating an itinerary for each client takes a significant amount of time.  We therefore charge a small administration fee for this service (between $100 - $250) which is then deducted from you remaining costs. For whatever reason you need to withdraw from the planning process, we require a non-refundable deposit payment of 25% of the trip price for the effort we have invested on your behalf. This is payable once your itinerary has been agreed upon. Note, this deposit is fully credited with your reservation file, so there are no additional charges to you. The deposit secures your internal airfares, accommodation and bookings etc.

Once we receive your deposit the contract between us will become binding and we will send you an invoice for the balance and advise you of the date for payment. Full payment for your holiday is required 60 days before your arrival. If a booking is made less than 60 days before your arrival, then payment is required in full at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in NZ dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax at 15%. 

 

Vouchers are forwarded to you generally by post to your address, along with details on locations and pick ups, maps and other information or may be faxed or sent by e-mail for you to print out. Your whole itinerary will also be available on the TripIt app.

 

Why do you need my credit card details?

 

Some travel bookings require the security of a credit card.  In fact it's similar to the way a hotel asks for your credit card details when you check into a room.  Nothing will be charged without your consent!

 

Do you have credit card security on your site?

 

Yes, we take our clients' privacy and protection seriously. Any information you send us is protected by encryption.  If you prefer, you can phone and tell us your credit card details or pay by bank draft into our account. Three Islands NZ complies with the Tourism Industry Association New Zealand's Code of Practice relating to credit card payment guarantees.
